My Story
Dr. Cailen Braund, a native of Michigan, was raised in a holistically minded family that instilled in her a deep appreciation for health and wellness from an early age. She pursued her passion for nutrition by completing her undergraduate degree in Dietetics/Nutrition at Eastern Michigan University in 2005, where she also excelled in pole vaulting, earning a scholarship for her athletic prowess.


Love for helping
Driven by her love for functional medicine and sports, Dr. Braund furthered her education at Life University in Marietta, Georgia, where she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Her journey led her to practice in the scenic coastal town of St. Mary’s, Georgia, near Kings Bay Naval Base, before relocating her practice to the Golden Isles, encompassing Sea Island, Saint Simons Island, Jekyll Island, Brunswick, and Darien.
Community Member
In St. Mary’s, Dr. Braund was an active community member, serving as the president of the Kings Bay Rotary Club and demonstrating her commitment to health and fitness by winning a CrossFit competition in 2017. Specializing in Upper Cervical Specific Chiropractic, she incorporates advanced techniques such as Muscle Testing and Blood Labs to assess Functional Nutrition deficiencies, utilizing Nutrition Response Testing to support her patients’ health journeys.

A published author, Dr. Braund has contributed to the field through research, including an article on Ankylosing Spondylitis. Her dedication to nutrition, yoga, and promoting physical activity among children keeps her actively involved in the Golden Isles communities.
My Family
Currently residing in Saint Simons Island with her husband, a psychotherapist, and their two children, Dr. Braund continues to inspire those around her through her holistic approach to health and wellness, she uses a functional medicine approach with blood lab testing, muscle testing and specializing in Upper Cervical Chiropractic.
