Dr. Cailen Braund is a native of Michigan. She grew up in a holistically minded family. Dr. Braund completed her undergraduate degree in Dietetics/Nutrition at Eastern Michigan University in 2005. Along-side her degree at Eastern Michigan University she received a scholarship to Pole Vault. Her passion for health, functional medicine and sports soared her to new heights as she pursued a further degree in Chiropractic at Life University in Marietta, Georgia. Before deciding to bring her passion for helping others heal through Chiropractic to the Golden Isles- Sea Island, Saint Simons Island, Jekyll Island, Brunswick and Darien Dr. Braund practiced on the coast of Georgia in the small town of St. Mary’s Georgia the home of Kings Bay Naval Base. Before selling her office in St. Mary’s, she was active in her community serving as president of the Kings Bay Rotary Club. There, she also won a CrossFit competition in 2017. Dr. Braund specializes in Upper Cervical Specific Chiropractic. She uses Muscle Testing and Blood Labs to review Functional Nutrition deficiencies. She is a published author publishing a research article on Ankylosing Spondylitis. Her passion for Nutrition, Yoga and helping to get kids movin keep her active in the Golden Isles Communities. Dr. Braund currently resides in Saint Simons Island with her husband who is a psychotherapist and their two children.
